6월 25일에 서울 구글 캠퍼스에서 엑셀러레이터 코리아(Accelerate Korea)의 첫 번째 데모데이가 개최된다.

중소기업청과 창업진흥원 후원으로 개최되는 이번 데모데이에는 11개의 스타트업의 서비스 프레젠테이션이 진행되며, 이중 5개 기업에게는 베를린에서 3개월 동안 진행되는 엑셀러레이션 프로그램에 참가자격이 제공된다.

이번 데모데이는 유럽에서 큰 영향력이 있는 행사인 ‘베타피치(Betapitch)’를 주관하는 ‘베타하우스(Betahaus)’와 협업하여 진행된다. 엑셀러레이트 코리아 프로그램을 선발하는 것 외에도, ‘Betapitch Seoul’의 우승팀 역시 이날 결정된다. 우승팀은 아시아계 스타트업에서는 최초로 ‘Betapitch Global’에 참가할 수 있는 기회를 얻게 된다.

한편, 이번 데모데이 이후 청담동의 트와이스(TWICE)에서 엑셀러레이트 코리아와 창업진흥원이 개최하는 애프터 파티도 열릴 예정이다.
